The Christmas break always leaves behind warm memories, joyful moments, and smiling faces—but it also brings a fresh sense of responsibility when we return to school. As a coordinator, stepping back into the school after the holidays feels like a blend of excitement and purpose.

The school premises come alive again with children’s laughter, teachers’ greetings, and the familiar rhythm of routines. Shivdnya from Sr kg. proudly showed me his drawing which he made during Christmas break and excitedly spoke about how he missed school during the break. Moments like these remind me how deeply children connect with this space when they feel safe and nurtured. This time is special because it’s not just about resuming lessons; it’s about reconnecting—with students, staff, and parents.

A few reassuring words, a warm smile, and gentle guidance help everyone settle back smoothly. “Abdul began his school journey by joining Junior KG directly, without attending playgroup or nursery. In the beginning, he found it difficult and often cried, but with time, love, and care, he has grown comfortable and now happily enjoys coming to school.”
I also noticed Avika, Nursery student, who usually holds tightly onto her mother at the gate. This time, she walked in confidently, waved goodbye, and joined her friends without a second thought.

The post-holiday period is also a time to re-energize the team, realign goals, and ensure that holistic learning continues in a happy and organized environment. Planning activities, supporting teachers, and keeping children motivated becomes the heart of the role.

As we move ahead after the Christmas break, we carry forward the joy of the season along with renewed enthusiasm, ready to make the coming months meaningful, structured, and full of learning.
